Did you think about contouring the box to match the seat? I know its labor paid vs. time worked....but I think a smooth corner would've looked nice.

Whenever I glassed something like that I would notch the mdf and staple the fleece in the corner of the wood to help flush it out in the end.

Like I said though....its all money vs. time.
normally on really finished pieces that i would end up painting or wrapping in vinyl i would spend a little more time on the prep work to make the finish work easier , so yea i normally rabbit the lip and staple it there.

And yea i know i could have spent a little more time making the box fit a little better on the corner but i had just a cpl hours to do the box so i took the short cut on the corner ... now if i would have had the truck longer i would have actually molded the corner also to fit better.

honestly i am never really happy with anything i do unless i have a free reign over what i am doing .. it can always be done better or differently honestly

Do you still work at the Custom Sounds in Fairview? Cause I live there and I used to see your car there everyday but I haven't seen it there now lately so I figured maybe you got transfered or something.

the avg time on the full installs are about 1-2 days avg ... most of the stuff i have done lately is really mild stuff compared to what i have done before

this job took me 2 days because of the paint work i did, plus the time to make the box and amp rack .. simple but a nice clean install

where this job took me alot of hours over the course of days i would say about a weeks worth of work between all the fiberglass work/paint work and cutting out the rear deck and building the subwoofer baffle and painting that also
