Ok, I'll be working on the suspension aspects of the CRX next month. I can't decide if I want to go with an adjustable shock/spring combo or coilovers. I'm looking for something that will handle well on the StlHonda cruises. Here is what I'm deciding between...What do you guys think?
Koni Yellows w/ H&R Race Springs

Shock/Spring Combo or Coilovers?
I'd do full suspension, adjustables and coil overs. Seems to be a pretty nice ride from what I can see on mikes car.

Shock/Spring Combo or Coilovers?
i had the h&r race springs an my crx they slam your car and it rides like ass but handles really well. i got rid of them, now i have tein s-techs and bilsteins on the crx it rides alright and still handles i think its a happy medium between ride and handling but if you dont care about ride then i would go for the h&r's and a nice set of struts...

Ground Control coilovers and KYB AGX here. So far I've yet to raise the car (farking stripped allen bolts), but I've got the shocks set to 3 now and I actually don't mind the ride!

IMO the koni yellow/eibach sportline combo is the best 'happy medium' out there. its stiff if you want it that way, or soft enough to daily if you'd prefer that. plus the koni yellows have adjustable perches, so you can raise and lower it to your liking. <- that's Mike's suspension, and I am running sportlines and tokico illuminas (also a very nice set-up btw) and you will notice that because of the adjustable perches his car sits noticably lower than mine(he estimated that between the center perch adn the lowest one is about an inch drop :dunno:). that is why I am swithing to the konis.

full coilovers for sure, save up for full coilovers, you'll save money in the end because you won't waste $200 on springs, then be displeased with the lack of drop and then have to buy another set of springs and so on, plus most shocks are oem replacement valved, so they'll blow on anything with a much higher springrate than stock
and you can find full coilovers for very good prices
my $499 setup
