I own a 1988 Crx SI that I'm currently swapping a d16z6 in.
Here's a picture of my rex. I plan on making a build thread but I'm going to wait till I get more stuff done/together.
It was all stock, minus the cat-back and the cheap intake that was on it, when I got it. It had sat for three years and not ran because they could not get it started. They changed the dizzy, ecu, starter, fuel pump, ignition switch, spark plugs, and wires. I bought it in november of 09 planning to have a winter project out of it. Well I got to looking at it and my friend has a book with all the wiring diagrams in it. I fixed all the wires under the dash because they had tried to hotwire it. Then I saw there was no spark or fuel, and traced that to the main relay, and traced that to fuse #14 that was not there. I put it in, and boom it started..
Fast forwarding to today the car has tokico HP series suspension on it, a full exhaust(i added a header and a HFC). Full strut bar set, C/f hood, enkei 17 inch wheels a wings west kit(minus the door caps), and a few other bolt on odds and ends. The motor blew on my way home from work one day and I picked up a 90 HF rex with a z6 swap in it. I got the swap all ripped out and got to looking and they had three different wiring harnesses in the car. No wonder when I plugged the battery charger up it was buzzing out of the speakers. I'm in the process of cleaning up the motor for the swap. I dont get a lot of time to work on the rex so I can only get a couple hours a week in on it. I want to get it done because I use 24 dollars worth of gas in it to drive to work vs 60 in my silverado.

This is before I started to put the body kit on. The door and the fender on the drivers side were fucked when I got the car but I replaced the door and fixed the fender with a stud welder, dent puller, and some body filler.

Here's how she sets now...
