302 RX7 Build Thread

Well as more parts start to trickle in I decided to make a build thread for fun.

It started as a stock 85 GSL-SE

Ripped its bastard 1.3L heart out

Started collecting parts for the 302 swap:

One AOD(Free Thanks Deetz):

One tranny mount, and 2 engine mounts:

Almost forgot, the tool I picked up today to help out

I should be picking up an engine this weekend. I will keep this updated as I go. Should be done in a couple months

im also building a 302 but its going in a f150. if i was you try to find a motor that is marked xxx because they have forged internals and make good power

i have a 2400 stall for an AOD if you are interested. i just pulled it out to put in a 3000.

Got a short block and anoter AOD today

I also managed to break my engine stand by putting this motor on it...OOPS.
