Photoshop class final exam

okay so I changed it up a bit and took grabbed a few things from Tim's gf one. I have to make my own bar code though.

Doesnt look to bad, but why the need for stlhondas up top? It looks to cluttered IMO. Look at some other Honda Tuning covers and go from there. Good luck man and for being in High School I think you're doing pretty good.

the stlhondas logo is up there for filler because if I were to strecth the picture of the hacth anymore it would look all distorted and goofey looking.

Looks good. I would possibly suggest changing out the lime green font, as it doesn't flow with the covers overall appearance.

black background + the burn tool is your friend for that... look at my signature, the 'fade' on the corners is all burn tool...
I get home in like an hour, I will post up the one I started last night just to show you what I'm talking about... its currently just pictures,logo,barcode; I got bored before I put headlines/cover stories on it

what I was talking about w/ the burn tool:

bear in mind that that is no where near finished

or for lighter backgrounds, you could try blurring and blending the edges to a similar color

Theres WAY too much stuff on the second one justin. Ditch the stl hondas logo, the rsx and the integra plus everything about them. Pick up any sort of scc, superstreet, any car magazine and you'll see that theres only 2 or 3 things on there other than the cover image and whats going on with the cover.
