Whats a funnel ram? Are you talking about the hood scoop. All that is is a tunnel ram hood scoop. A tunnel ram is a design of intake manifold that moves the carbs(or injected intake plenum) up high for more HP in the upper RPM range and kills off low end. Usually effective in the 5000 RPM+ range. Funnel ram is noting.

what i was trying to get at was that a friend of mine has a 56 with a tunnel ram and that scoop and people always think its supercharged. although it will have a blower here soon..
