so far this is what i have for the engine harness, im nowhere near being finished still have to extend the wires for the headlights blinkers and what not. the entire harness was taken apart and all of the circuits that werent needed were taken out blower motor, rear defroster, etc. the only ones that are left are the lights, windshield wipers, gauges basically everything that will keep it legal and run.

thank you, and yes the plan is to use crome i think im holding off on converting to obd1 though theres enough wires im worrying about right now. ill get it going the way it was then convert and im adding the extra wires for obd1 into the harness so there wont be any subharness or random wires floating around...

cleaned up the the harness for the gauges:

engine harness done:

notice the 4 wire plug for the o2 sensor and the 3 extra wires for the vtp and vtec solenoid:

ecu plugs with the extra wires for vtp, vtec, and o2:

i added the extra wires for the 4 wire o2 sensor into the harness just like it would be if it were obd1, leaving only the orange/black wire to be hooked up at the ecu. same goes for the vtp and vtec wires so when the time comes to throw in the obd1 ecu nothing will have to be added besides the ecu plugs. i also got rid of the dimmer for the instrument cluster lights, wires for the rear defroster basically everything nonessential is gone. i also seperated the dizzy wiring from the main harness making it its own harness and moved the plugs for it to the interior of the car. since i know the car runs its time to put the harness in the car and start extending the wires for the headlights, blinkers, horn etc..
