Police chase video....bad results

I know it was on stlsr but I also know some arent on there and I wanted alot of peoples opinions on the way the cops handled this.

Also if you watch the vid at the end, you see the cop shooting at the guy 6 or 7 times while on the hood where the articles say 2 times...gotta love the media.

Wow are you fucking serious???? I think they went overboard a little bc they should have shot out his tires and tried harder. I didnt see the need to empty his clip into the driver. Also he shouldn't have jumped on the hood. I am sure there was a way to end the police chase and still have kept the guy alive.

edit-- and aj.. police officers are trained to empty their clips if use of deadly force is needed

well in my opinion.. you responded to my post like i said something wrong. i think cops should shoot more peices of shits like this.. what if that car woulda broadsided your car with you and your kid inside and killed your kid? would you have hated on the cops for not taking him out sooner? also it doesnt show anywhere how the cop confronted the man.. im sure he had a reason to open fire on him.

The guy tried to take off with the cop on his hood....I would have done the same thing.

if you read the article it says he tried to hit the officers with the car and people only shoot tires out in movies do you have any idea how hard that would be and how unsafe thier were other cars on the street with people in them and you want them to hang out the window at 70+mph and shoot at him

Well in police chases that I have seen on like cops and worlds scariest police videos and they shoot out the tires. I dunno but that aarticle may have facts wrong bc you can clearly see he shot more than 2 times. He shot at the guy the first tome twoce and then he unloaded his clip. I just think he went overboard with it but thats me. Ill talk to my dad which is an ex cop and see what he says.

i think they were just trying to find a reason to get some target practice on this guy.
