they did a nice job with the swap, so the motor is probably built right too, I bet it runs pretty well.
for all of the doggin everyone does on DSMs, they can be monsters if build correctly and won't have any major problems

True but they have be built right to last. I personally am tired of dsms (mine left a big hole in my pocketbook) so I would have left the D in there. But it is different.

you gotta pay to play... and when you're playing with dsm's you're gunna pay alot; either to build it right the first time, or rebuild your mistakes... thats why i own hondas. I've wanted a 2g talon since they came out (it didn't help that my uncle bought one new either) but Im not buying one until i can afford it.

definately different, not my cup of tea but the swap looks pretty clean.

I like some dsms and most the draw to them is the awd for me... fwd I have, awd I want. only bad thing about them is the majority of 2g 7bolts need a leash.

yep i had a tsi talon and the crank went for a long walk on me, and this was stock everything with 100k... dsm's are fun and can be built to be great, but whats the point unless this is a show car... honda motors are better anyways... but i would still take it

If you dont beat the shit out of it, a dsm will last as long as you make it. Just like any car, unless its a early to mid 90s model ford taurus. Trannys will shit on you even if you baby it.
