Unless your Accord is a V6, you mean headeR. Only 1.96accordlx;235687 wrote:im not sure yet but i do know that i want a full exhaust with headers first and then maybe a chip
Dont waste your money on a "chip." Useless without either a built motor, or forced induction on these cars.
Welcome tho!

You just said the only relatively cheap options for more "power." You won't pick up much cheaply.96accordlx;235692 wrote:yea lol thats what i meant of course but i always say headers out of habbit, all i have right now is a short ram intake and a can. it sounds really good but its a little slowim also looking for wheels w/ tires. and do you know of any cheap ways to add more power?
Just save up and go turbo or build a swap. That'll get you some better power to work with.
Sorry man, no performance chips for Honda's. These aren't Vdubs or Audis (or various other brands if you must).

there is a few things you can do to free up power, not much but they are free indeed...there is a throttle body mod that you can do to drop the temp coming from the hot antifreeze running through it, spark plug gap opening direction, advance spark timing a little bit and the egr block if you have obd1 (unless you want a cel popping up). I gathered a ton on info on diy for the cd5 accord that can work for you, I have a h22a in mine though so my engine will be a "little" different than yours. there is tons of things you can do very cheaply if you are on a budget, not exactly for more power but to utilize the power you have in a much more efficient way and therefore seem like you gained power. I will post up pics of my car soon and the specs on it.
