Ok well he told me tonight about it and its bc they made a Oldsmobile Cutlass or something like that with a diesel engine so its not odd bc it came in a car like that stock. Jake will explain better than me.

thats not a real Grand National. since california's smog restrictions are so tough the owner used a factory diesel powered oldsmobile cutlass to use to get around the smog laws, since diesels are exempt. so the guy converted it to a regal, using buick quarters,fenders and windows, then dropped in a powerstroke so he could have all the peerformance he wanted without having to worry about smog laws. oh and yes, diesels with good engines spew like that...
