pulls were done in either 4th gear or third gears, the 3rd gear vids are obviously the shorter pulls. There was a HP and tq difference between the two gears but to keep things consistant everybody did atleast one 4th gear pull.

Chris
That makes a little more sense, then. When my car was dyno'd...the conditions were such that there was hardly a difference betwen the raw data and corrected values.

true, my 4th gear pull sucked since my car likes to hit some kind of governor at 106mph/7200rpms in 4th, so I was stuck with 3rd gear pulls.

TMarsh- the difference between your b16 and the ones dynoed today is that yours is an SiR II motor, mine and Chris's, and I am pretty sure AJ's as well, are SiR I motors- rated 160chp stock, the SiRII motors are rated 10 higher.

overall, I'm satisfied, they let us hangout for the day and we had some fun, and I needed a baseline so that I know how much I improve after I do maintenance (cap/rotor/plusg/wires/etc..) and add a few mods. I think the LS tranny and a bad stock clutch killed me, but next time I hope to be at least up where I should be or better. we will see.

Dropping the clutch at 5,500 rpms is how I got that... Poor rob with a 15.8  Love ya buddy

:angry4: I was very dissapointed in my run in AJ's car. It didn't really cross my mind that I was on the dyno doing a 1/4 mile pull because when I launched the car on the street at 3,000, I had nothing but wheelspin. I ended up launching between 2,000-2,200 and shifting at 7,000 (On the tach, not the VAFC) each time. Oh well, I guess thats not bad for my first time ever running a 1/4 mile.

I have quite a few pictures but I'll have to post them up later.
