any-1 have a wiring diagram for a del sol cluster?
im in the middle of a conversion, it would be really nice if i had the del sol's wiring diagram to go along with the conversion diagram im usuing'......cant seem to find anything online...
on top of that i found a nice rat's nest of wiring under the dashboard...counted about 20 wires that are connected to something at some point but then dont go anywhere from there....not 1 single wired was soldered either...everything's just taped together....removed like 4 ft in wiring so far and two handfuls of tape...after i finsih the cluster swap ill be going over all the wiring and soldering all the connections and re-doing alot of them'....

Instead of fixing the junk, I'd just get a harness. They are cheap to buy.

the actual cluster harness is fine minis all the t-taps i removed, its all the other wiring under the dash that has shit everywhere and anywhere.....removed like 25 t-taps, alot of misc wiring and all sorts of crap', most of it was for the alarm, s2k push button starter, trunk release etc.....alot of things im sure not sure of, going to finish the cluster swap first and go from there'RyanA;7000 wrote:Instead of fixing the junk, I'd just get a harness. ill probably remove the entire ignition area so i can have a nice open space to work with and re-do all of that wiring sense there isnt 1 wire under that that isnt tapped at least once or have wires coming off it and leading to nothing, ill just fresh wire+solder+heat-shrink everything up'
thanks for the link fellas, those will both work perfect'
ps: grantourismonut thanks for the offer but i should be able to use whats there just fine, id feel better just re-doing whats under there with fresh wire and removing whats un-necessary'
ill update sometime tomarrow after i work on it a bit', hoping to have it all wired up by tomarrow besides the coolant wires, waiting on a converter that i ordered for that'
