Top Gear has a shootout between the S2K, the Z4, and the Boxter, and the S2K takes home the win. They even raced to see whos top would go down fastest and you can probably guess that the S2K won.

the boxter takes the win in the race 137.0 to the hondas 137.4 and the z4s 137.3. i hate it when they do the races when its wet...

Just use the money you saved form not buying a Z4 or Boxter and get ITB's and an exhaust system and that should shave off your 4 tenths of a second.

if you start talking about mods then the whole topic gets fuzzy... ok, so you send a few thousand on itbs and exhaust, now is it still as attractive a package? part of its appeal is that it is cheaper. and .4 seconds on a wet track can be entirely because of a small driver error, I'd want to see a dry track test too before i accept the times.
