Thank you. I need to contact him on MySpace I guess and try to set up another one. He mentioned wanting to race again after the car got a good tune... The original one was lacking.
I'm still a neighborhoodASSHOLE!

Who knows. He is a good driver. I'm the underdog. I'll still give it to him though by a half car... The hatch is decent, but it will never be fast.

you don't have to SEE someone shift...it's called listening.
what i'm saying is the reaction times between shifting is very slow compared to what i'm used to apparently, and other ppl as well. lemme break it down...there's maybe a split second between gears from what you can hear is what i'm used to...whether it's me, my friends, pro racers, etc.
i never said he was a shitty driver, i said he could improve....as can everyone.
oh yeah...must add disclosures to this site i've noticed. i am not saying, nor was i ever saying i'm the best driver, better than anyone, etc. constructive critism is helpful.
personally, i think its pretty irresponsible to to race like that, sure i have done it a couple times, but in the end its just not worth it. im keepin my racing on the track and you should to, before you kill some soccer mom and her mini van full of kids...

eh regardless, looked like there was plenty of on coming traffic. anything could have happened im gettin sick of seeing posts on forums sayin that "my buddies dead cause he was racin some guy and wrapped his car around a tree" or "crossed over the median and hit somebody head on" i just think that a: races should be done on a two lane divided highway with a concrete divider, if you must, not on a back road with an open median with oncoming traffic or b: on a track. i dont want to read a thread on here that describes a fellow members death or injuries because he/she thought they had to prove something. and besides that he said flame away :dunno:

Actually this was a 4 lane back road. 2 going east and 2 going west with a large concrete divider in the middle.
There are places to go and certain times to do it... I didn't plan this race, someone else set it up and then I was approached when I met the group in the parking lot. Curiosity got the best of me. I wanted to see how I would do against a car like that. I'm not sorry I did it.
