Thanks guys. Good to be here.
Yeah, I have to tell everyone it's lowered because obviously, it doesn't appear that way. That thing was REALLY monster truckin' before I put on the new stuff.
The lip kits help. I'm actually not a huge fan of the rear lip, but it makes the car look lower so... it stays for now.
Future plans, if I keep it, would be to fix the pile of things going wrong with it. It was a very bad idea to put stiff struts on a high mileage car. A lot of the bushings are shot and its not a very quite ride. The driver's window decided to break yesterday (a honda with a messed up driver's side window, what a shocker!), so I need to see whats wrong with that. I could go on... but thats enough boring stuff for now.
I will hopefully be getting new wheels, as I mentioned before, when the weather is nice. The tires on them aren't that great so I have to wait. I probably won't do anything else performance wise (it has an intake) because of the miles and the fact that my money would be better spent on a car with some stuff already done. I was thinking about dropping in a new F23 and boosting, but the worthless Illinois emissions laws prevent me from going OBD-I.
So for now, I wait. Once I get some money together I'll start looking for something new.

i believe the reason he cant go ob1 is because he still has to pass emissions. so he has to keep OE obd...im just taking a shot in the dark but i believe thats why. also its state law that NO exhaust mods are allowed, in MO i think you just technically cant touch the cat.White91Hatch;222675 wrote:You cant go obd-1 what kinda state is that?! You are correct Ryan. Illinois still has a useless emissions program that only tests cars from 1996 on up (because thats when OBD-II systems were put in place). Obviously this pool of cars REALLY needs to be tested because they are the most polluting bunch... yeah right.
Illinois does indeed have a law about exhausts too, BUT it is rarely enforced, if at all. I don't think I've ever heard a cop give a ticket for loud exhaust unless they were really searching to give a ticket, or if you're a ricer haha.
Oh and White91hatch, I HAVE seriously contemplated moving lol
