Another new guy from Collinsville

Post by Bwill9886 »

Hey everyone, name is Brian. I've been looking at joining the site for a while and finally got to sit down and do it!

I've got a 1998 Honda Accord LX that's been in my possession for about 5 years. She has 220,000 on her (as of this Tuesday) and still holds together pretty well. It needs some work, but she runs like a champ!

I love working on and discussing cars (which I've been doing on Honda-tech.com for a while) and figured I'd check out a more local forum. I'm already familiar with some of the other Illinois-side members, but hopefully I'll get to meet more of you.

Here are some pics of the Accord. Go ahead and comment as you please, and trust that I'm aware she is lacking in certain areas. It has to fulfill daily driver roles, and there are so many miles on it that there's only so much I'm going to do to it.

Haha, glad I could do something good today. I missed my first class this morning and it's been downhill from there!

Welcome but whats with the Tein sticker???
2008 Chevy Slobalt
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps

Yes I own 2 slow red chick cars & 1 real car!

Haha, yeah I know all about being broke. Why do you think I still have the A cord the way it is? I heard you'd been having some issues with it, good stuff for the future though.

Oh, and you probably haven't seen Robert's car because he drives it even less now with the weather. He just drives his brothers F-150.

Alright, I usually HATE stickers, but for some reason... I like that one. And there is ONLY that ONE sticker.

Believe it or not, it's riding on Tokico Illuminas and Tein H-tech springs. Gave it about a 1 inch drop... and its still up high! lol

It'll look better if I can get some SE-R Spec-V wheels from my friend when the weather turns for the better.
