what do you shoot with? theres a bunch of canon guys and a few nikons, and one angry pentax shooter that hates pretty much everything

Canon rebel XSi body. I've only got 2 lenses because it's an expensive hobby, and cars come first; the kit lens, and a 70-300 IS lens that I bought when I worked at Circuit City back in the day...

Check out the set from the STLDrift day. Yes, there's a lot of "button holding". I uploaded 95% of the pictures I took, just so that everyone could see themselves in action. Out of them, I'd probably "keep" about 50 of them.
