Welcome!
I'm a fan of the 92-95 civic generation and i'm glad you're choosing one haha. they're very nice and easy to find cheap. They're also very easy to work on and cheap to fix if things do happen. as far as mods, you sound like you're in the right mindset, and you have your priorities.
...but nothing like a little drop on some nice wheels wouldn't hurt haha.

Welcome. Become a little more open minded though. There ARE Hondas on here MUCH faster than your car is. There are also other Fbody owners on here.
PS: Leave farm truck exhaust for the farm trucks. NO true duals is NOT the way to go on a damn near stock LS1....

dont worry, i can hold my tongue. like i said, i respect anything fast, and take a few shots here and there. to each his own.02Type-S;204925 wrote:^^

this was just the 1st round of mods. next spring ill probably go heads/cam, but this is just to prepare for the next round. makes sense to me. i really dont think they sound all that bad, better than a crap Y pipe setup most go with. like i said before, to each his own. i find most 4cyl's exhaust annoying, but i have found a few subtle very good sounding ones. everyone has their opinion, and i respect that. for me me though, duals dont have the rasp and drone associated with a Y. they have a little but something like LTs, offroad Y pipe and say an SLP LM1 sounds like ass and i could never live with. the X makes all the difference in the world. again, to each his ownParts Slingin' Hobo RyanA;204922 wrote:Welcome. oh and i know my car isnt the fastest thing ever. in fact, its pretty slow. if i dont spin my nuts off, i could easily hit high 12s, which is nothing to brag about by any means. on a daily basis, im probably faster than 90% of cars i see out there, but thats just the few i see day by day and there is plenty of people in this city to remind me how slow my car is lol. im sure on this very board there are at least 20 probably more hondas that would make me look like im standing still. just b/c they arent my thing, doesnt mean i dont respect them. fast cars are fast cars, no matter what is powering them or the badge on the front. hell, even a heavy ass 2V modular can be made quick lol.
i think they are probably one of the best looking civics. and please, dont tempt me. lol im trying really hard to not mod whatever i end up purchasing. hell, from coming into this thread alone ive negotiated tinted windows with myself. must...resist....eh2_Erik;204802 wrote:Welcome!

It was a 03ish GT, 5spd, with exhaust, drop, wheels, ect. Idk if anything else was done under the hood. The C5 was a stock automatic.LSwon;205095 wrote:forgot to add, i saw something in the kills section about you racing a mustang and another about you beating a c5. what year the stang was? im not calling BS either, cuz i know absolutelty nothing about your car, the power it makes or how it responds to mods. fill me in lol
I drive a 2002 TL Type-S, just cai and exhaust, its a 3.2 vtec V6 that makes 260hp stock, and 232 ft lbs. Not a racecar, but its respectable for what it is.
It responds to mods VERY well tho. lol
