what size piping did you get?
what kind of muffler?
resonator?
there are TONS of factors to why it could sound like that.

I got mine built and get the basic sound I wanted on the first try (now I want something even quieter). I did 2.25in mandral piping, a 4in round magnaflow resonator, and a 5in round magnaflow muffler (4inch slant tip) with a silencer... but like I said, I want even quieter now...
