my freind had a turbo supra parts car setting around and i got it cheap, so pretty much its what was available. plus i saw a couple RB 240's in person and fell in love with that six cylinder sound. and i really love the look of the
7M-GTE. and plus it just conforms to the S13 engine bay so well with the turbo on the passenger side away from the steering and they have stubby trannys that DONT break.

that's true. the tranny's hold up good. it's the head gaskets you have to watch out for. congrats on getting it for a steal and good luck on your build.

I built a 90 s13 a couple years ago, ended up welding the rear end, it worked suprisingly well! but slow turns are annoying.

yea welded diff for the win .. i love mine and it's SO predictable and makes getting the ass end out so much easier
