Squeaking from the drivers front suspension
I just put on new shocks and springs. I drove my car to Ohio today and now it developed a squeak from the drivers front. If i push up and down on the car at the drivers fender, there is a squeak. What could this be? already blown strut? ball joint going out? Sway bar end link (which i just replaced both of those as well).

Well if you replaced any of those parts with polyurethane, thats most likely what the squeaking is. I have a front camber alignment kit on my car with poly bushings and it squeaks all the time. This isn't a bad thing, apart from the fact that its annoying. Thats just one of the drawbacks to poly bushings...they're stiffer and last longer, but they squeak. Try some white lithium grease, that might make it go away.

I had this problem to. Just spray a lot of white lithium grease up there and it should stop.

I havent done the spacers yet-i dont think they would raise me up much so i didnt put them on. The sqeak is coming from really low, down near the hub.
I hit 6-7 pretty bad bridge joints on my trip to Ohio and back. Im guessing that its the drivers ball joint that is giving me squeaks.

Does your car have a Damper Fork like the CG3's???? (the cast iron bracket that holds the bottom of the strut) if so check it could be bent. if its not tight or completely straight then it will squeak hardcore, my 6th gen had that problem. i had to buy a new one at a dealer..RSXSLVR79;131521 wrote:I havent done the spacers yet-i dont think they would raise me up much so i didnt put them on. if it just started its more than likely something you changed. does it do it over speedbumps? a swaybar endlink normally will not squeak over an equal bump. they will squeak if your driver side tire hits a bump, but your passanger side does not. take the endlinks off, test drive it, and see if the noise dissapears.
