The 2009 Street Car Shootout Series and Doc's Harley-Davidson Street Bike Shootout Series will begin on Tuesday, March 31st, along with open testing for all vehicles. In the event of cancellation due to weather, all 2009 Tuesday SCSS/SBSS Test events will be rescheduled for the next day, (Wednesday), with the same schedule.Due to an unfavorable forecast including 70% chance of precipitation and more importantly a wind chill in the 30’s, tonight’s Midnight Madness will be RESCHEDULED to April 10th. Gateway Raceway wants to insure that the Midnight Madness fan base, as well as the participants have the best experience possible. In this case, due to the strong winds and chilly conditions, it is the best interest to reschedule tonight’s event for APRIL 10th.
Due to a consistent weather forecast of substantial rain and possible snow flurries for Saturday, March 28th, the Test-N-Tune event is officially cancelled. Cold temperatures and the threat of frozen precipitation will degrade the quality of race conditions.
