That was fun, my buddies dad was there in his 05 mustang with exhaust,CAI,and tune running 12.7s....I thought that was pretty impresive.

I went to the track last night with certain ideas of what would happen....and then the exact opposite happened. A couple observations...

1) A 2.2 60ft on my first (ie only) pass, in my first RWD car with actual torque is an achievement in my book. I could bench race all day about how the IRS + shit tires + Honda-weak axles + wheel hop nonsense makes a 2.0 about the best a stock GTO can do, but the bottom line is this: I didn't spin the fuck out of it and I didn't completely bog the fuck out of it, so I'm happy with that.

2) My clutch eated my mph on the top end, and now my car looks like a Sally.

3) Tom, you hotlap like a motherfucker.

4) Jeef could've been t00na king, but you don't get points for not showing up.

5) I'ma need some more money...

Nothing wrong with hotlapping, thats how I got my fastest time last year, and my car never gets hotter than 180.

Yeah me too, Hears the deal I ran consistent 13.6s@100mph and a 13.5@100.35mph.Last year I ran a 13.2@103 I also had the stock 2.93 gears in it with a 1.95 60ft, this year Ive got 3.29 gears in the built tranny and was only able to get a best of 2.04 60ft and 100mph trap speeds. The car has 12s in it on the shitty ZZP tune I just dont think I will hit it on street tires like I wanted to, with some DRs I will definatley get my 12 second pass and a good tune should put me in the mid 12 range. On the plus side though I did rape 2 mustangs and on the way home I put like 4cars on a WRX with exhaust and a BOV from a gay 74mph punch, he wouldnt slow down anymore and he didnt even wait for me to honk it off.

you are probably running rich losing some hp. we'll get that scan sometime soon to find out for sure. you will prob lose some mph when you put drag tires on as well but you'll have a better 60 ft
