usually the BMW Frost on the Pumpkin is the last event of the year around here (as far as I'm aware). And that is Nov 1-2. Season is typically over until again in March of the next year.

Hey it was good to meet you

Afterwards I was hanging out with an Instructor friend and we were talking about some Students ... he was raving about how well his student was moving through the course

Some guy in a red S2K ... anyone you know???

stupid car.....I was having issues w/the Prelude all day on Wednesday. Which meant I had to baby it around the track....had to make earlier shift points and back off the throttle where I would normally have the pedal to the floor. Fun day, but my experience could have been a bit better. R-compounds still have a lot of tread on them too, making things a bit squirmy still.

I'm going to guess that there aren't anymore before this where I can get an instructor in the car with me? I've really been wanting to sign up for one and now that I actually have the money, I'll be down in Columbia starting school at Mizzou. I might be able to make it back, but I'm not bringing my car down there and would have to find a different way home. This would be such a great time!

there's another one on August 27th....but I'm sure Mizzou has started classes by then already (I'm an alumni). Also another one in September. Have early morning classes? Lol.....St. Louis is only like a 90 minute drive from Columbia, you could totally make it for a Wednesday night event!

Think about a weekend event ... you can hitch a ride in Friday night, then you run your car Sat & Sun ... you hitch a ride back to school Sunday night ... hard to plan that I know til you get the lay of the land at school, but there always was someone running back to St Louis or KC on any non football weekend

Just had a mini-vacay at Mizzou ... the wife and I met there. Can't belive how things have changed, looks great ... was fun to go to all our old hangouts

Lemme' know if a weekend event works ... there are two more ... one with Porsche and one with BMW club ... both are great organizations with great Instructors and welcome all makes of car!
