No you don't need to spend money modifying your car to have a great time learning ... you only need a helmet (borrow one), fresh brake fluid, a decent amount of brake pad, and non bald tires

The first part of the video is a "pursuit" lap running behind an BMW E36 M3, the second part is more entertaining, well, for me at least as how many times do you get to be passed on track by a Porsche Turbo Carrera driven by a guy with the cahones to handle it the manner it was designed for!
I really enjoyed meeting this guy ... most guys with big dollar cars treat them like museum pieces, and if they bring it to one of these events, it seems they're mostly just doing it to say they did it ... they drive way over conservatively
This guy has track seats in his, with a harness bar, which he unbolts after the event so he can squeeze his 3 year old kid's car seat in the back!
Watch how fast he gobbles up ground through the banked oval and straightaway ... just awesome ... I then decide I'm going to see how long I can keep this car in sight on the infield
Watch my hands as I enter the first turn, doesn't look like much on camera, but I'm too hot on entry and countering off rear end twitches while I'm coming down from 'about 110 mph to about 80 mph to make the turn
I'm hitting it as hard as I can, and while I don't close any ground, at least I can say he's "only"
