a lot of tracks, not all, require aftermarket rollbars in convertibles, it's all up to each tracks or events decision

Has defined the factory rollover protection to be adequate, as it connects directly to the unibody
I will ask the BMW guys and let you know
If that's a "go" do the BMW event if your first, if not, do the SCCA events

SCCA definatley allows S2000's....I think my bf Keith helped get it approved too, lol. BMW does not, however....or there would probably be a few more of the S2ki guys out there.
The Wednesday night events, or a weekend SCCA event would be perfect times to run the S2k though!

no deff not in that hatchback i was like 3 cars away from you lol i was in the red S2000 i was parked behind cliff in his silver S2000. That hatch just was too slow to be with the rest of those cars but in his defense he just says he only autocross's it so i guess a lot of hp is not neccesary. Matter of fact i think i let you borrow my helmet to take that guy in the miata for a ride i think lol... Hey i tried to sign up for the even in july on wed and the link does not work?

Ah! Yes, the guy was a policeman ... said that he should do a track event as would feel safer in a "pursuit" (cop talk for "car chase")
Thanks for lending him your helmet ... I always enjoy giving potential customers some hot laps
Hope to see you at another event and next time stop by to say hello
