24 driving endurance race / gameshow / demo derby ... they're a blast

Will be a team driver piloting "The Punisher" ... an old school cop car Impala ... was invited in and the Chief Domestic Engineer (a.k.a. my Wife) is okay holding the fort down solo as a b-day present for me

Thanks ... it's pretty much a 22 hour war of attrition, with the last 2 hours being a blitz among the survivors to try and finish on the podium

Pics and videos ... videos got me into trouble ... I was playing the "wreck & spin" video last night when the wife came by

Wife: That's the thing you're going to?

Me: Well, it's a highlight reel, but yeah

Wife: You didn't tell me it was like this ... cars bumping into each other

Me: OH

Wife: Silence, continues watching

Me: (Holds breath)

Wife: Will you car have those bar inside it, like that?

Me: OH, yes, full roll cage, harnesses ... it's safe, you might get banged up a little, but nobody gets truly hurt

Wife: Sighs, walks away, no further comment

She's a great gal .. it seems when a woman reproduces, some switch in the their brain flips and everything becomes a safety issue and/or "my children must grow up with a Father" issue ... luckily for me, she has reasonable control
