Drag tires?

What tires are you dragrace guys using?

Drag radial?
d.o.t.?
slick?

what size?

I've learned alot about tires relative to gearing and hp and was curious as to what leads others to their decisions.

Post up if you have an opinion!

Used to use what you guys used to run....205 60 / 13 m&h dot slicks. I want something 24" tall to better match my gearing. All I want to do for now is not top out 4th before the track ends. :PDT_velo:

im going to be running a 275/40/17 MT ET Street Drag Radial on my stock wheel this year i believe....

I am not going to run full out slicks this year due to my weak diff. Once I swap it out for the 8.8 I might. But until then I will run the drag radials.

24.5x8x13 mickey thompson e.t. drags

and 225/50/15 bfg drag radials on the street, however im waiting for the et. streets to come out in that size.

i am running 24" m&h Slicks on the track and i had 225/50/15 BFG's for the street that hooked pretty good.... for every day use i say go with the BFG's.

i use BF DR on the green hatch .. 205/50/14's i belive , they hook pretty good for me but i am going to step up to a 15" rim this year i want to get in the 24-25" inch area
