and rick why are you interested your car doesnt go faster than 12.99, does it even run?

i maybe wrong on this but i believe that you don't have to have a cage on a nhra lisence untill you go faster than a 9.99 or 135mph

well.. i can tell you there are a ton in missouri....but normally you wont see them around stl.. why you ask? oh i dont know, for starters... maybe you should talk to gateway or mathew7000 as to why import faceoff got turned down for trying to have an event at gateway.. maybe you stl'rs might have to make some trips to KCIR or Ozark dragstrip this year eh?

hey stolle, you have to to to the track to see cars run. as of last year....
omerverich (however you spell his name) runs 10's, is an import.
2nrsOfSpringfield runs 10's or 11's is a honda, which is also an import.
mike93hatch runs 11's possibly 10's this year, is a honda, which is also an import.
EFiVtec runs 11's, is a honda, which is also an import.
5thgen runs 11's, is a honda, which is also an import.
my car?? stolle, ran 12's last year, has different setup will be looking for low 11's this year. is currently down, will be up within a month and pinks all out is in several months.
all the people posted above are registered on this site. there are plenty more, like govw, supraracer, big rob, Jarods7920, couple of srt-4's, couple of eclipses, and some evo's are all running at least 12's that are on stlsr and other local forums. so, yes there are imports in the area.

and stolle, why am i interested? because this is a forum. people talk and ask questions on forums. i had a question in my mind one day, so i asked it. oh, and heres a video just to prove something to you:

ps. i blew a headgasket on there just after the 1/8. that is why my trap speed is so low, and that black civic is 2nrsOfSpringfield.

cavalier went 11.9 with one tire fire and shitty clutch, but thats all fixed now, so itll be interesting. that talon was well into the 10's, correct me if im wrong.

im sorry rick just how many times did you think i went to the track last year? i believe i was there more than you, i didnt know thats what this discussion was about, and the time you where there with me you didnt even run your car. i have seen most all of the people you mentioned at gateway run their cars and they have run 12's, 11's i have never seen any import at gateway dip into 10's besides "Omerovic" who drives a dsm and i believe there was also an rx7. you said your car ran 12's how many times? was it consistent? just curious. im sure there are other cars more than capable, however i dont believe that many of them would even run in pinks all out or even think about it. they may say "they will" or "im down" or "+1" but they wont thats just the history nothing personal no animosity thats just how its been nobody ever balls up and does something like this...

ps. rick, wasnt that video one of the only times your car was at the track last year cause it runs like shit? why did you blow your head gasket didnt you have the head milled and the block decked? wasnt that the run you leaned out and burned the ground off the spark plug cause you bumped up the boost with no tune? if you have had this long to get you car running right with what you had last year and havent done it, what makes you think you car will be ready with new parts in several months?
