Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Really wanted to pick one of these up but any that I really wanted were just out of my price range. The Focus is nice, but I've had a hard-on for a VW with the 2.0T ever since my dad got his Passat.
