A buddy of mine, that works in the same building, had been driving this car to work off and on. He hadn't driven it in a while, asked if he still had it, said it was for sale, I bought it to have something to do & test my all around ability/limits I guess.....so here we go....one-handed.
94 EX Coupe
b18b1
gsr trans
haggard as fuck
I had immediate buyers remorse the deeper I got into this thing. So I put it in the garage for about a month; diligently fixing shit/working on it, nobody would see me rolling around in the steaming pile of fuck this car once was. So I started tearing shit apart...

Notice the integra console that doesn't even fit
Wrong color seats
Misc pray painted pieces
Busted cheap boost gauge
Hole for ricer tach

This is just some of the wiring rats nest I cleaned out

...and this is how most of it was done.

On to the cleaning process

When I pulled the back seat out I found the access panel not even screwed down. The screws were right next to the panel

Power washed it, didn't cut the mustard, so it was time for some dye...

Before

50/50

After

Carpet back in
Bought replacement interior pieces & correct console

Integra seat to match the rest of the interior

Some goodies

I hate working under dashes, I folded into a pretzel a lot easier 10 years ago.

Had to trade these nasty bastards off.

So I was poking around one day, and found the cv shaft wasn't locking in. Well apparently whatever fuckhole put new output seals in, decided to cut out the center of the wrong seals to make them fit. Well he even screwed that up, because the collar of the shaft was still catching the seal. Both sides were like this, trans fluid all under the car, no fluid in the trans.

Put the right seals in, new fluid in.

Out with this shit, back to factory.

Took off everything, cleaned it & the bay, painted it, shazaam!

Last nut, rounded it off, solid 2hr setback.

I wanted a no frills, all business look when I started my work on the engine bay. Playing around with industrial/implement colors, I think it turned out great! Couldn't find any black couplers in time, so I re-used the blue =/

It had the most hillbilly drain line, & screwed up fitting welded to the pan. So it was off to see the wizard for a new fitting...
