it took more than buttoning up a few things to get it running. the wiring was all jacked up, the harness when i arrived at my house was halfway unplugged and the compression from cyclinders 1-4 were: 80-80-50-30. with that compression even with everything hooked up properly it still didnt start. also, the tps sensor was broken. after replacing the tps and massaging the engine it ended up firing up. then we had to locate a set of correct shift linkages as the ones that came with the car was for a 4th gen civic, and install the shift linkages. then the exhaust was hooked up and it was then test driven.
ps: it runs, yes. but it still needs some other things done like vtec hooked up, the iat wires found and hooked up, and the o2 sensor wires found and hooked up.

it didnt magically get running. i had proper tools to work on the car at my house. it is also hard for me to get out when i have a family and about three cars sitting at my house waiting to be worked on and i have a full time job. i came out there once to help and i did and i would have came out again if time would permit. i tried helping on here several times and even suggested to have the car towed to my house where i have proper tools and all the necessary things to work on it with.97SuperStock;296446 wrote:Just funny how the car magically gets running right after we sell it but when we asked for help after the first time rick came out... no one knew what to do or had time. Oh well... Congrats guys.
and stating that no one knew what to do kind of seems rude to say because if someone had come out to help and honestly didnt know what to do, isnt that the same boat that you two were in? which means someone offered to help but it was beyond their knowledge?
