Picked up a 98 z28/ss

So for the last month ive been searching for the right car that needed little work. Yesterday I came across this 98 z28/ss convertible ls1 auto. Picked the car up below blue book in poor condition(very cheap). 140k miles, runs and shifts great ,New top, flawless interior, 3" magnaflow exhaust and offroad y pipe, geared, shift kit, slp intake. Runs flawless and surprisingly Im loving the car so far.

Hood and bumper have few little paint issues I dont like so ill be having them redone, Vette wheels will be stripped and redone in black again, Calipers will be painted red rather then hugger orange. Black housing headlights will be replacing the fogged out ugly ones that are on the car now. I will be installing a electric qtp cutout and leaving the exhaust that is on there now more then likely.

Hate the last 3 gens of camaros, and autos... Sounds fun and decent power though. Glad you found something you like! Just work on getting that mullet grown in

LOL I knew haterism was coming lol but in all honesty I dont like it either lol but if YOU like it, thats all that matters bro.... most of all to me the grill looks a lil cheesy and the wheels you're taking care of so at least it'll look better than it does now...GL with it.

I would also either smoke the turn signals or go back to the stock amber ones.

I figured everyone would hate but i dont care really, Personally I hated convertibles to and still do sides this car. I couldnt believe I was even looking at it but now driving it and messing with it im starting to enjoy it alot. Car gets tons of attention and for 4000 im sure will be quicker\nicer then all or most cars I can buy for the money.

The billet grill is coming out, headlights going to black housing with black housing signals, wheels will be repainted and fixed, autos suck but its quite entertaining with a shift kit and geared. Like said I had plenty of cars I liked before this that I was tempted on buying but I couldnt pass a ls1 car up for 4k in the condition that this is. Few hours of prep\paint\personal touch work and its gonna be great for me.

Higher rpm stalls really help the 4l60's. And make them run pretty strong!
