A new pic, just been stripping the bay. Cleaning some things, and pondering ideas.
Engine plan is just a b20 from hmotorsonline and a cable tranny. No go fast stuff.

Pulled the dash today, now I can take care of the brake lines and wiring.
I need to weld some stuff up in the bay, prolly have to buy a welder and do it myself though.
Any recommendation on filler that is better/stronger than bondo? It will only be used for minor smoothing...

advice: paint it the same color as the car. also paint the hood and trunk lid.
shave: i would attempt a minor shave first, however finding a welder is going to be the issue, you can do it the low budget way however it doesn't turn out as good as it should.
you should remember how i semi-shaved mine.
Tuck: make it so you use the factory disconnects also if you can add a few. this helped me with my tuck to make sure everything could be ran where i wanted, and how i wanted.
i used, http://www.radioshack.com/product/index ... C%3AGoogle
and electrical tape, and heat shrink.
motor: great idea.
however your though process of not modding the car wont last long. trust me.
end of lurk!
happy under construction thread sir!

Kris, if the bay gets shaved it will be all welded up.
Looking at brake booster deletes, and brake line kits. Either gonna make my own or buy from Chasebays. Haven't decided.
Either way what you see in the bay will be bare minimum.

I finished removing all the brackets and stuff from the firewall today, it's pretty much ready to start welding stuff up. Gonna order the master cylinder and booster delete Friday hopefully.honduhej1;293055 wrote:exactly what i wanted to do. really glad this went to a good home. chasebays has some awesome stuff.
I have been playing with bending and flaring lines, it's not difficult. I'll prolly make my own lines so I can assure bare minimum is visible.
