i got my shades on

what are your plans with this car again? you can do what you want. wheels can be changed later when you realize what you've done.
What type of wheel should he have chosen?

I like the SSR's. And yeah, looks like you got a lot done. Engine bay looks great. I could really stand to see the valve cover stay red even. :D

I've met Scott in person. He seemed like a great dude.
The only time I see him post is when he is: bumping this thread, selling something, or bumping a friends thread. I'm not one to talk, because I don't get on here that often myself. However, it is indicative of his involvement with the site.

I like the car well enough. Its beautiful. I know Scott and his associates are excited about it, but you cannot expect us to gush over a hatch that looks like every other hatch we've seen. The elitist attitude about rims is also a turn off. Legit wheels are cool but, having fakes doesn't make someone trash.

This is just like those who post on Facebook then whine when some doesn't agree with them.

There has been overly negative waves in the past here, but this is simply a case of opinion.
The wheels are classic, classically boring.

i have two rotas...with bfg drag radials :flipa: car looks good though. threads turning out like this is why i never update my build thread anymore. all i would hear is your bay isnt tucked, not low enough, no sweet wheels, etc. but then again all that is to be expected when you post something on a forum, not everyone is going to like everything. thats something you have to deal with once you start posting your stuff on line. you will get criticism as well as compliments. accept it and move on
i may not be "logical" but at least i can change my oil...

[center]Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. I don't really care either way if such and such doesn't like my bay/wheels/interior choices. I picked them because I wanted too, not to please the forum.

So today I got a couple deliveries

I received 96-98 rear tail lights to replace the 99-00 ones, but didn't take any pictures.

Black works racing lug nuts to replace the neo chrome ones because they weren't my style.

Honda came by and dropped off my fluids

got most of the interior in, waiting on some things to finish it up

Ended up getting the motor started today also! :pals:

That is all.

I believe the wheel fits the car and its purpose well. What are types of wheels that aren't considered boring, if you don't mind me asking?

I think what you've been able to accomplish with this thing in such a short amount of time is spectacular, and I'm a fan of the design of the wheels and I really like SSR wheels in general. The only complaint I have with them is the color of them, it just seems like they're just a touch off matching the car color (but I don't know if that was your intent or not anyway).

I honestly like it a lot. Its simple and clean. Something that I think is often lost when people modify cars.
2008 Chevy Slobalt
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps
