i wanted to but at the time i was driving the car...but then!!...i blew my head gasket, pulled the engine and trans today...ordered a new golden eagle b20/vtec headgasket.
sorry for the multi-post, but i discovered that the guy who put it the b20/vtec together thought it was ok to remove the iab plate form the gsr intake mani, shortening the runners and doin more harm than anything....
as well as some funky jb weld looking type stuff on the back of the block, im gonna post pics after intake mani is off and see if i can get some guidance as to what all additions would be good as far as a crankcase breather, and whatever else sensors and plugs SHOULD be tapped into a GOOD b20/vtec
..a break in my intake manifold gasket right under the coolant port on the intake mani.....im thinkn this is where my anti-freeze man have came from....not 100% about the oil because i see no signs of oil ever going thru it....even th passage has clean antifreeze in it.
Selling the b20 vtec, swapping an ls into the hatch, long term plans of boost...short term plans of gettin rid of some of my legal issues.
B18b1 obd1....heard run and drive, came off and auto tranny so it wasnt beat on. didnt smoke....and only had 130xxx miles on it. recent water pump and timing belt, new dizzy and plugs....picked up for $400. Decided id rather get the ls than spend 5-600 rebuilding the b20 over the course of a couple weeks when i need a daily NOW.

to be honest, im thinkin about it....but when it comes to ls/vtec and b20/vtec unless you raise compression you dnt really get anything out of it except vtec itself, no real hp gains or anything....
