Bought her last weekend. Base model w/black on black 6 Speed.

Long story short the suckass dealership Bommarito by Bigfoot didn't have the model I wanted and were not willing to trade with any dealerships that did have one. They offered to have one made and take 90 days...I thought why the hell would I wait that long, if i did that I might as well wait for the 2013's. I guess they just thought I was some punk kid that wasn't going to buy anything. Me or my family has never had a good experience there.

ANYWAYS, I found one at a Honda Dealership in Madison, WI (Zimbrick Honda) I called them up and explained my story and such and nevertheless......they hooked me up with over $1,500 off MSRP. Great service, worked with me on financing and got me a good rate. The salesman and finance guy were both super nice. It was a great overall experience buying from them (If your looking to buy a new Honda its worth the 5 hour drive.)

I know there's a lot of people that dis on the car but its actually pretty sweet. The car is pretty peppy and gets great gas mileage. Sticker says 31 city/ 37 Hwy but on the trip back I averaged 43-48MPG. Great sound system, a ton of features and lots of space.

If only Honda would get out of their pointless hybrid kick...

I know that point has been beaten to death everywhere but Honda seriously missed a huge opportunity with this car. I still agree it's a good car but when I see one I always think of what could have been.

There is a couple features of this hybrid system that aren't pointless.

1. When your coming to a stop and if you push the clutch in and shift into neutral the car actually shuts off. The car restarts as soon as you put it in gear. Thing is, the electric motor is what starts the gas motor up again. So your burning zero gas at a stop light and zero gas to restart the motor.

2. The electric motor comes into key on hills and such. There is a meter on the car that shows ether if the car is charging or its assisting. Going up a hill the electric motor is assisting and making the gas motor that much more efficient.

The hybrid system has a 8 year/100,000 mile warranty as well. So even if it breaks and you think "well all the money I saved on gas is just going to go towards repairs to the hybrid system later on" then your thinking all wrong. The salesman said they aren't too expensive to replace even if its out of warranty.

Everything is moving towards hybrid nowadays, parts are getting easier and cheaper to make and put into cars.

I like them but am not crazy about anything hybrid yet. One of these with a boosted k swap would be sweet though! I know it's only a matter of time.
