Back in the game, on a real tight budget.

Post by honduhej1 »

So ive been trying to crunch and get this thing done quick. Within the past 2 weeks I have done Function and Form coilovers, test pipe, Nippon Mag 1 wheels 15x7 +34, with Dunlop Direzza DZ101 in 195/50/15. I am having some rubbing issues in the rear, so a camber kit is on the way. Along with amber front bumper lenses. Still need the rear bumper trim painted, that will be done this weekend. Hope you enjoy. Also I know the wheels are a cheap shitty brand, but im on a budget and wanted the car to look a certain way. Let me know what ya'll think. Thanks, Andy.

I can appreciate a budget build.... as i am very similar to you... dont have $387180571 to throw into my car.... i have a family to support lol... so i am limited to mods and upgrades that are cost efficient.. and not gunna break my pocket.

Your car is looking good though man~ Keep it up and coming`

Great work. I love how this turned out. For a budget wheel, those were a perfect choice for that car.

For sure, its really just a lot of prep and wet sanding and buffing. And time. Saves money though!

Yeah that's what I was thinking once I got them on. I was kinda skeptical of doing a polished wheel, but it turned out to be decent. The offset is what I was mainly looking for, really any wheel from +27 to +35 that was around 400 or a little more for the set.
