Car has hellacious camber. Aligning it on Monday, the toe is all wacked out. All I can do for camber right now is raise it up. Oh well

Where did you find a 100k mileage stock EF Si Hatch? You just don't see those anymore. The car looks really clean, nice find.

Old-school EFers will tell you that the only front brake upgrade that keeps a correct suspension geometry is 90-91 EX Sedan. That doesn't stop people from throwing Integra brakes on there since EX Sedans aren't exactly common in the junk yards. For the rears, you can use DA Integra trailing arms and if you also use DA upper and lower control arms, you'll get a wider stance. My old hatch had that, and I loved the look.

I work at Bommarito Honda, it was traded in and i bought it an hour later lol yeah i was reading on HT that the EX's are really hard to find, im just going to set the toe for now, the car will get raised back up when i get a set of wheels/coilovers and then in spring ill get a camber kit and align it good

Nice pickup, though IMO, it's a shame you're going to mod it. If anything, you should have found a semi modded one instead of ruining an OEM gem like this.

lol whats ruined about it? anything you do to a car can be reversed for the most part. and restoring/replacing the parts that are messed up will only make it better, shitty paint, faded moldings, jacked up sunroof, etc.

please refer to my previously owned cars, you wont be disappointed with what im going to do to this one.

I don't mean to piss all over your thread, but he has a point. Clean, low mileage, unmolested EF's have been climbing in value quite a bit the last couple years. They've become kinda rare. If yours is rust free, fairly nice paint & interior, mechanically sound, etc, it could sell for $3,000 or more... mostly based on the low mileage and it being an unmolested Si. On the other hand, modded EF hatches that go for more than 3k are typically clean AND also have a b-series or maybe a JDM front end, maybe throw in expensive rims, etc etc..

but whatever. It's not a 68 Challenger in clean original condition, it's a 20 year old econo-box. I'm looking forward to seeing your build progress. We need to have a stlhondas EF meet some time.

Ruined? It's not like he's gonna put a body kit on it. It's a 20 year old civic si. It's begging to be modded and go fast. The only reason the climb in value is cause of people like us who want a nice clean solid base to start with. No one wants to buy someone else's problems
gudg racing you're never gonna catch me!!
