Dynoed the Lexus, now in the 400 club :)

Post by nitrousjunky »

Well Ive always been one to push the limits, so today I decided to put it on the dyno and see what it makes with the setup Ive been using for 6 months now. First pull was 371.8whp / 355.1wtq @10.5psi! I thought that was great but I wanted more!! (greedy bastard) after adding some timing and cranking on the boost controller I put down 409.2whp / 391.5wtq on 12psi!

Call me crazy:
I maxed out the fuel pump and injectors

This is the original engine with 144,000 miles
-NO head gasket
-12psi
-E-85
-turbonetics turbo kit
-3'' turbo back exhaust
-AEM FIC (self tuned)

enjoy...

I know people that have dynoed cars there and then at other places, and Steggys has always read high compared to those. Like I said, either way, those are impressive numbers for what he has invested in the motor though.

those are numbers are with the map graghed with STD setting, If you use the SAE setting (warmer weather setting) or something like that, it reads:
400.8whp and not 409whp.

this could be where it reads "high"
Turbocharged Daily Destroyer
W58 transmission
Turbonetics kit
12 psi
E-85
409whp 393wtq
