Lol! You guys must be scared to alter the holy body of a stock 89 2500$ crx. I'm sorry I like to try things and build a custom car rather than a resto-rod. Its the same concept of building a custom street rod. You guys sound like those old men that are offended when you cut up a model a and put a big block in it and 23" drag radials on the back. Don't hate.on me just because I am not afraid to alter the looks of my car. You can't say much when you pay a shop to lower it and throw some rims on. I'm doing more than that and learning actually how to modify, fabricate, and paint. Rather than bolt on or pay a shop.

Now all you Honda kids can quote that and add some YouTube like negativity and snark about how you'd rather have a cookie cutter car. That's all I'm saying <3

There's a big difference between being honest and being a dick. I think alot of people in the world confuse the two or are intentionallyt dick heads and just hide behind "I'm just being honest".

And I'm NOT DISAGREEING that the car wouldn't be best reverted to stock. Then it'd be cool. Straight body with OEM lights and such. That would be more unique than all the riced out cars like this on Craigslist.

MY stance is there's a lot better ways people can be honest and say "I think the car is ugly and it would look better this and that way" rather than "this car is a pile of dump" and "it needs to be ran over by a tank", each of which are paraphrases of other posters in this thread.

I have to say, $2500 is what I would except for a unmolested, decent shape CRX or Civic hatch and even then it's a bit high.

Having a crx that is riced out is cookie cutter. Its much harder to come by a clean, tastefully modified crx rather than one that has been modded with wings and other silly modifications. Riced out crx's are a dime a dozen, simply stated.

You can't say much when you pay a shop to lower it and throw some rims on.

I would keep in mind that most of the active users on this board do their own work and would never take their car to a shop to have it lowered.

altezas
ebay projector lights
some sort of shitty body kit and fenders
some horrible non functional wing
stupid dumb obnoxious exhaust
etc

And then you consider these MODS and then make a big build thread with 90% of your mod list being replacment parts and your actual performance mods being nothing more then a air filter. Granted your one better by doing a b16 swap .. these cars are a blast with a b series motor i loved my b16 ef hatch.

but the above is why everybody is talking down your car and not agreeing one bit with your choice in "mods"

lord! what a read! haha. it's the same thing I went through with my wheels and mirrors, who cares, build the car and move on. you like it do it, I know I like what i've done and I'll keep doing what I do. I can't wait to see all the hate and flames come from this site when I get my APR GTC-300 with risers, that'll be a good thread. Honestly though, just keep doing what you're doing and if you like it, you like it, all that really matters. Someone will always find something to down talk you about.
