First off, yes I am customizing my car and adding some rice but Im attempting to keep it tasteful. If you do not like it please don't harass me about it... I know rice is sometimes over the top but I am having fun with this car. I am trying to learn new customization methods on the cheap. I found customizing new cars is very expensive and usually requires more of a professional limiting my ability to get my hands dirty. With my CRX, I can afford to make mistakes. Parts are cheap and Everything on the car is rather simplistic. This is my cars transition since October 2010. Thanks for reading

First day home. Bad Paint, Bad Rims, Bad Lots of things

It had some rice starting out. It wasnt a bad car tho. It took me forever to get my hands on a CRX

+5hp (Sarcasm) Got a Carbon fiber hood super cheap. Why not? It was yellowing So i solved the problem later down the road.

Touching up the trim. It was super grey

I got tired of people asking me why my car is 3 colors. And why Its blue and Kinda fugly. And why bought this instead of driving my 04 Custom Towncar. So i Painted it to shut people up. I did this in 3 days before winter. It wasnt perfect. It was affordable and I wanted to preserve the body through the winter until i could afford a good paint job. I used Hot Rod Flatz Satin Black. It looks nice (189$) paint job not including materials

It still didnt look like a Gem by any means but its better....

Refinished the wheels. Looks a little better

I bought some new rims finally. Looks ALOT NIcer.

Ok I got a spoiler and painted it. This is where people might frown. I still think it looks halfway tasteful on the car. And I dont plan on adding a body kit any time soon.

The clear on the hood was shot. I know nothing about carbon fiber. So I tinted it with duplicolor until I can afford a nice Fiberglass or Carbon fiber hood with a decent clear. It looks better than yellow. I dont know why but I kind of like the reverse concept of a Shiny hood and flat paint. Instead of a flat black hood and normal paint. Call me Crazy lol.

Hello B16a1

My B16. Complete CRX setup. I got this on a super good deal. Full exhaust everything but the mounts for 500. Has aftermarket cams, lightened fly wheel, harness, Expensive Exhaust, LSD Tranny, Bored, Rebuilt, And cold air intake. Its going in tomorrow. I will take a ton of pics!

Thanks for looking at my build thread I cant wait to add more. Ive done a ton of interrior work I have not taken photos of yet! Soon to come

Wouldn't look too bad without the headlights, taillights, the whale tail, and those front fenders! Would look pretty good slammed on those wheels.

is that the old skool wings west wing and like the flip on the paint but ditch the tails

The wheels are dope, but I'd say go to the junk yard, get some cheap fenders, headlights and taillights and paint those, slap em on and it would be cool with the B16.

Riced out CRX's are a dime a dozen but a nice straight body with a decent interior is hard to find. Reverting it to stock would actually set you apart from the crowd.

I going to be honest where others are not, that car looks like a big pile of dump. Is it the early 90s all over again? I thought people were done with big retard wings and Z3 fenders, more importantly than that I though APC went out of business.... Apparently not.

Maybe you can hook him up with some stickers put on all crooked and some Jo-ann's craft store interior then he can be mad tyte jdm yo like you.

I love when people posit their opinion like it's fact......

If you like it it's your car, but here is what I would do. Loose the tails and fenders but keep the rest. Maybe a little bit of a drop, but not "slam it"
