New DD, replacing the Versa

Huge thanks goes out to Rick today. Ill try and get pics of the actual work in a couple days. He spent basically all day, redoing part of my exhaust that a previous shop really messed up. The shop that messed it up, used to ran by a really old guy that did amazing work, supposedly he was bought out, and its the same name, but its some 50 year old that apparently doesnt give a shit. Major crush bends, and instead of using a taper, like I requested about 10 times, he did this wonderful piece of work. Next to it, is the piece that Rick ordered, which is what I wanted. lol Also the guy didnt put a flex pipe back on, after he cut my stock one off. Not sure if its a combination of everything, or mainly the flex pipe, but the car feels WAY smoother, it used to vibrate alot at certain RPM, and now that gone, and everything just feels smoother and sounds quieter. Love it. Huge thanks to Rick(5thGen) Also, kind of a last minute thing, Rick got rid of my rubber accordion intake tube, and make one out of aluminum. Pretty slick.

Heres the old Vs new taper. Its obvious to see why I wasnt happy about it and wanted it fixed. It had about a 1/2 inch lip on the inside where the pipe was smaller and inside the bigger section way too far.

It was one of those things, Ive used this shop TONS of times over the last 15 years. And always loved his work, dropped the car off, picked it up and left. Didnt notice it until the next time I changed the oil.

BTW: Twat is one of my favorite words to use on "Words with Friends" lol

really thinking about going to a dealer and seeing if I can get one for the S, I wish some random person would come up to me and be like, hey I'll buy your car!

I had a great experience at my dealership and last time I went by they had a used red R-spec like mine.

I usually work every Saturday and Sunday in the install bay at the best buy on Manchester and 141 if you want to check it out. Things are pretty slow so I can usually stop and chat, and my car is parked right in front of the bay.

Well, I shipped off my PA Module on Tuesday to Florida to have it reflashed for the new turbo. He said its normally a 1-2 day turn around to mail it back. So im hoping to have it back Money or Tuesday. Already been talking to John at Lowe Performance about getting some dyno time for tuning, and add a couple pounds on top of the reflash. lol

Im starting to get excited!

Oh, and Ryan, I work tomorrow 12-7, and I took Sunday off so I could go on the Polar Bear ride. If you wanted to swing by this weekend, im only around on Saturday.
