How messed up is that!?
I have a very similar sentiment... although it would be improved if I had a garage that I could work in.

That used to be N2HIFI's car. I bought it last year. I work in South County so I'm guessing that's where you've seen it.

well here is a update lol:

Decided to pull the GSR out of the hotfire and sell it and put a SI swap back into the hatch and get the engine bay and drive train back into shape.. Well before we pulled the GSR i wanted to know why it ran funny and why the PO couldnt get it running correct.

Well come to find out after a little hunting around and dbl checking things we found out that the motor had jumped time, the cams were about 3-4 teeth off from each other, plus the starter was missing and so were all the engine grounds for some reason ... So rob and i pulled the VC reset the timing belt, installed a starter, add grounds and threw the car on a battery charger...

2nd crank motor fired right up and ran great.. problem solved and now i have a great condition GSR sitting around lol .. for sale possibly

Well now that we established the motor ran and i made a video of it running to show people :) it was time to pull it, so rob and i got to work

Boom!!

Time to address the engine bay cause it was rough:

Quickly taped up the bay and fenders then went to work with some red engine enamel
