2. 26 mpg "highway only"
3. That's 442 miles per tank of gas
4. Distance 235.33 one way :profile says Edwardsville:
5. Total 470.66 miles total
6. Claimed 34 mpg "1 tank of gas round trip"
7. That would put you at 578 miles per gas tank

Dammit!!!! I need to trade in the brand new civic I just bought my wife for a 7 to 8 year old v6 TL...

EPA fuel economy estimates for highway driving simulates a 10-mile drive with speeds averaging 48 MPH. It’s run from a hot start in a mix of
rural and interstate driving conditions. There are no stops, and not much idling time. When the test result is known, the Highway MPG is lowered
by 22%. This makes the result closer to “real world” fuel consumption. Which means at least 33 MPG is definitely attainable in an '04-'08 Acura TL (3.2).

Yikes, be careful. Tires is one thing you never want to skimp on in my opinion. I know what you mean though about being a broke student.

Nice upgrade though, I like where you're going with it...other than the tires haha.

Good tires might be a little more important than golf... on a broke college kid's budget.

Just giving you trouble. Lol :)
