My 1993 Prelude

Post by rickles8099 »

Figured since i have had this car for a little over a year now and never had any pictures till now, (spur of the moment cell phone pics) id post up my car and whats been done to it.

First off, i bought this car not running and with the intent on fixing it and then selling it. needed a headgasket and new head because the timing belt had snapped and bent a couple of valves. the car came with a new head and i needed to purchase a couple of parts and put it together. once i got it together and drove it, i loved how smooth it was and decided to keep it.

I dont have any plans other than keeping it pretty much like it is now. it came with aftermarket wheels and stereo. i installed a ebay short throw shifter on it and a couple of weeks ago came across a set of lowering springs and tokico blue struts i put on it. I have a complete energy suspension bushing set im about to install with new rear upper balljoints because going ES is cheaper than buying all the worn out suspension bushings from honda. and i intend on fixing all the body issues sooner or later.

let me know what you think:

Its a good starting point. Preludes are fun cars.
2008 Chevy Slobalt
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps
