New wheels on the CRX

Post by Edison Carasio »

Since I'm getting rid of the current wheels on my car to fund other projects, I had to get something else to put on the CRX.

Picked up all four of these with newer Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring tires on them in 185/65/14 (I think) for only $100

I actually kind of like them. From a Del Sol.

I know I'll be in the minority with liking them, but the tires are nearly new with nibs on them still, and I got them dirt cheap. I'm happy.

I do believe celestial blue pearl. To be honest, the IMO the rims actually look like they belong if you see it in person. These pics suck.

I would like to have them refinished and powder coated gunmetal with a nice clear coat, but I need to fix my suspension and I think my brake master cylinder is going out. DOH.

I think they look pretty good. Front needs to be dropped to match the rear tho

Yeah, the other wheels looked more even for some reason. I don't have the adjusting tool for the front and the rears are like messed up. I noticed that when I took the rear wheels off to swap em out, the spring is just like literally sitting over the strut, not attached to anything. I was "Oh, now I see why it rides like crap". I dunno how long it's been that way.
