Should be buttoned up later this week. Still have to do hoses(vac/coolent),shift linkage-(do i cut 2 inches off both pieces or just one?) and pick up 1 axle. Other then that shes in and runs:) I retaped and loomed the engine harness yesterday and i just have a few little things to do still. And i know most people are gonna say the headlights are rice but i put those in for a few reasons. one of my stock headlights was cracked,and i was looking for a replacement. These are not the cheap "angel eyes" you see on ebay.
These ones (thank god) dont have angel eyes and have a glass lense. These are most likely the nicest headlights out there for a crx. The overall quality of these lights and fitment is better then stock! And now that i fitted them with 1200k hids the light output and cutoff is phenominal. I cant wait to drive with these suckers! The projector itself is fully adjustable as well.
for now i have some nokokia yellows (or whatever they are-i got em at a local speed shop)in the bright headlight sockets and those do look great but im ordering yellow hids for those as well as my fogs (im making small projector fog lights)even though im sure i will never NEED that much light,its just nice to have it :party2:
That being said,i still need to make my led tail lights-These will look factory from the outside and i may save this for a winter project. I may eventually paint the inside of the headlights black but the chrome is kinda grwing on me a little.
Anyway enough with the headlights. So far i put a new exedy clutch/pressure plate,and got a topend gasket set for the 1.8 and tomorrow im doing a full tune up. anyway ill post more pics as i get everything together.
