My motor that came in the car was smoking and just a pain so...sold it

Bought another gsr swap to build up for $300

Then I bought all new gaskets, seals, and all sorts of parts I dont even want to think about the money into this motor...ACL bearings, ARP head studs, OE clutch, resurfaced flywheel (free :w00t:) and a whole bunch of other junk but on with the pictures...
Wanted to get started but no tools, engine stand, or knowledge lacks production

So here is where I've taken my motor to a machine shop for a resurface on the flywheel, block hone, deck, new valve seals and valve job. Long story short he had my motor for a month and had only done the flywheel and block. When I asked what I owed him he said nothing...its on the house...:yo:

But I got my head back from the machine shop #2 with a 3 angle valve job and new valve seals

My kitchen table turned into a mess...this was at 8pm...

...by 11:30 pm this is how it looked

Some more time passed by and not much got dont until one night it was in time and looking really good

Transported the car and motor to a friends shop to put the final touches on everything and make sure that everything lines up and one last final check to make sure I have everything ready to go...

Got a late start after work to drop her in and well...its was worth it...

She started up on the first try which had me freaking out because I knew that was way too easy from where this motor was...well I wasnt out of the woods...3 days after the motor was in and running I was taking a friend home and I hear a loud whining noise...not too happy...pull the valve cover and I've got a hole in my timing belt...luckily for me nothing broke...didnt jump time just needed a new belt....whew...
Here's a picture of the car at work the first day after the new belt was on..

Oh and here's a picture of my new steering wheel...hoping to have a shoot soon but we'll see how long it takes me to get coilovers on...lol

Thanks for looking...happy to finally have my car back...enjoi!!!!
